Poetic poison.

Hanging on this false hope I was tricked into.
That arena of fantasies I built is still lurking around the corners of my brain.
Pleasure now turned to poison.
I am held captive to the charm of your deceitful smile.
Each embrace sends an icy chill down my spine.
Jewels around my neck have now turned to thorns.
My wings now clipped.
Ankles tied with invisible metal chains.
I am Queen, under your control.
